Callie and I went to visit her babysitters yesterday. I keep putting it off, but I ran out of excuses yesterday afternoon. Tommy and Betty go to our church. They keep two little boys, ages 2 and 4, who seem to love them. They don't believe in letting babies cry. I know that they will love her and that she will love them. Mama's just having a hard time letting go.

Aw, gee. I really hate the first trip to the babysitter . . . I support your need to hang on. But fear not! :) You are Callie's mom; no babysitter, no matter how sweet and kindly, will be able to take your place. :)
Thanks, Gauntlets. Hanging on, I am. Looks like I'm jumping into the deep end on Dec 1st. I'd hoped to wade a little by working part time for a few weeks, but no such luck. :(
I am the Mama... I am the Mama... Babies everywhere love their mamas best. (at least, all the ones that I ever babysat...!)
