Please pray with me

......for my friend, James. He's my age, has three little kids, and has the biggest, most steadfast faith of almost anyone that I know.
2 1/2 years ago, he was given six months to live. A year ago, he was declared "healthy". At Christmastime, they found another brain tumor. Today, he signed the DNR. He's in a lot of pain.

Please pray with me that his last days are as comfortable and painless as possible and that his family, especially his kids, are comforted by God's great and boundless love.

Thanks, Girls!

God does good stuff.
Callie and I went to see him on Saturday. Hospice has him all set up in a hospital bed in the den, and he looked much better than expected. Plus, he was awake, which I didn't expect, either. He can't walk, he's not eating much, and he's got some pretty decent pain meds.

What is amazing to me is that, sitting there talking to him, it was almost like any other day. He was happy and upbeat and sarcastic and funny. He also said (again) that he's got a 4 wheeler that he intends to give Callie for her 3rd birthday.
