I Am The Face Of Miscarriage

Tomorrow is National Pregnancy/Infant Loss Awareness Day. I am remembering my first two babies today, tomorrow, and always. At least one in four pregnancies ends in miscarriage and many more babies are stillborn or pass from SIDS. We remember all babies born straight to Heaven, whom we have carried but never met; those we have held but could not take home, and the ones that came home but didn't stay.

Jessica, I love this post because it makes everyone stop and think of all the moms who have experienced this. I know it was one of the most horrible times in my life when I went through it. I will be remembering you tomorrow. I might post this tomorrow also. Thanks.

It's been over 3 years since my miscarriage, and I still sometimes hear a baby cry when there is none, or count my children and come up one short (even though they're all there). I'm not mentally ill; there's just a void that nothing will fill. Come, Lord Jesus!
