It's been months since I visited your blog and I am in tears over baby Cash! Life is so unspeakably precious!

As for the car seat, Juliet is 14 mos and I still haven't turned her. She's on the small side of normal, so until she starts pitching fits I'm going to leave her rear-facing.

It's funny that you mentioned Cash on that day. On the 21st, he had a CAT scan that showed that he's relapsing. THey're going to try a new protocol and he's still got the Drs scratching their heads - he should have tumors in his lungs in addition to the ones in his belly, but he doesn't. The spot in his brain is "glowy" but no actual cancer. I'm really going to have to be better about updating here. :)

As far as the carseat, Callie is 16 mos and we bought a Big Girl Carseat with the specific intent of keeping her rear facing to the limits of the seat. She'll probably outgrow it by height before weight, but I'm figuring she'll be good to 3 at least. The closer to 4, the happier I'll be.
